Diogo Busse is a lawyer, holds a master’s degree in Social Relations Law from the Federal University of ParanĂ¡ (UFPR), and a Legal Law Master from Ibmec. Former Director of Cultural Diversity at the Ministry of Culture and Former Special Advisor to the Secretariat for Strategic Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic. He was president of the OAB-PR Drug Policy Commission and director of drug policies at Curitiba City Hall. He was one of the lawyers responsible for the first Brazilian court decision to authorize the use of a cannabis-based drug for the treatment of a child who had seizures due to a rare syndrome. He participated in subsequent meetings that led Anvisa and CRM to change their positions in similar situations.
