At Bienstar, compliance with local regulations is a cornerstone of our operations. We are dedicated to providing safe and effective treatment protocols that combine medical and psychosocial approaches with psychedelic-assisted therapies. Our goal is to help patients overcome deep-rooted traumas, substance abuse, chronic pain, and other complex mental health conditions.”

Led by CEO Marco Algorta, our experienced team is committed to pioneering new treatment methods and advancing the field of mental health care.

About the treatments

Bienstar is at the cutting edge of mental health and addiction treatment in Brazil. We specialize in two powerful therapeutic substances: ketamine and ibogaine.

Ketamine

Ketamine has demonstrated remarkable success in treating refractory depression, offering rapid relief where traditional treatments have failed. Our carefully monitored ketamine protocols provide hope to those struggling with severe depressive disorders.

Ibogaine

Ibogaine is a potent treatment for addiction, addressing both chemical and non-chemical dependencies. Our holistic approach to ibogaine therapy focuses on the physical and psychological aspects of recovery, helping patients achieve lasting change.

We are also exploring the potential of new molecules, such as MDMA and psilocibina, in treating mental health conditions:

Psilocibina

Recent studies published by The BMJ suggest that psilocibina, the active compound found in certain mushrooms, could be a significant breakthrough in treating depression. The studies showed that psilocibina led to a substantial reduction in depression scores compared to traditional treatments.

MDMA

Known popularly as "ecstasy," MDMA has shown promise when combined with psychotherapy for treating PTSD. Research, primarily conducted by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in the U.S., indicates that MDMA-assisted therapy could be approved by the FDA by 2024.

At Bienstar, we are dedicated to advancing these innovative therapies and improving the lives of those affected by mental health and addiction challenges.
